Our story
Pioneering angel investing in Nigeria
Lagos Angel Network (LAN) was founded in 2011 as Nigeria's first organized angel investment network. We are led by a seasoned team of entrepreneurs, investors, and business leaders passionate about driving economic growth in Nigeria - bringing decades of combined experience across business, technology, and investing.
Through a strong network of angel investors, mentors, and partners, LAN provides early-stage businesses in Nigeria with the capital, resources, and guidance they need to grow.
As a pioneer member of the African Business Angel Network (ABAN), LAN helped seed a continent-wide ecosystem - including Rising Tide Africa, SSEAN, Abuja Angels, and Diaspora Angels.

Tomi Davies is a pioneering African angel investor and co-founder of Lagos Angel Network, widely credited with laying the foundations for angel investing in Nigeria. Creator of the POEM Framework® and former President of ABAN, he has backed and mentored leading African startups while shaping the continent's early-stage investment ecosystem.
Adedotun Sulaiman, MFR
Adedotun Sulaiman is a seasoned business leader and co-founder of Lagos Angel Network with nearly four decades of executive and board-level leadership experience. Former Country Managing Director of Accenture Nigeria and ex-Chairman of Interswitch, he brings deep governance, talent, and institutional expertise to early-stage investing.
